During my time in the WFY programme, I have acquired extensive knowledge and
all the teachers are very professional and patient to answer our questions.
The preparatory courses are also comprehensive during this time. Therefore,
I was able to integrate quickly into the bachelor programme at the beginning
of the semester.

 

My first year in Germany was definitely the hardest one for me so far, since I was neither fluent in the language or used to the german culture. That first year was however, one of the years I have learned the most in my life. In the Wildau Foundation Year I was able to learn not only the german language, but also prepare myself for starting my college studies and develop habits for the everyday life in Germany that for a foreigner may not be so obvious at a first glance. The TH Wildau receives every year a wide variety of international students, which makes the experience of studying at this university a very unique one.

My time in Wildau Foundation Year was as I should say one of the best times I ever had. I made many friends from different nationalities as there is a good diversity in the program. Also, strong emphasis is laid on the foundation of German, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics and Fundamentals of Engineering. The DSH exam preparation is one of the best which is good since DSH is required to start a bachelor programme in Germany. The teachers are amazing and there is good communication between students, the academic department and the administrative department. I would recommend WFY to anyone who wants to start their Bachelors in Germany.

The WFY programme is a great help for international students who are about to enter a German university. During the WFY programme, you do not only learn German but you also get to learn some basic university courses. The WFY was a great way for me to get used to life at a German university. My German language skills have improved considerably. In addition, I was able to grasp the subject matter more accurately and discuss it fluently with the professors.

The Wildau Foundation Year program was personally a vital stepping stone to studying in Germany. It made the transition process to studying Mechanical Engineering in German seamless. The Program made studying in German very realistic, and the teachers are extremely qualified. The program also did an immaculate job in managing all the important activities we needed to handle, whether it was apartment registrations, opening a bank account, or other important German bureaucracy. The counselling department was very helpful and always gave the best opinions in making critical decisions. They held our hands step by step, from being admitted into the WFY program all the way to successfully getting into a German university. I am grateful I was part of WFY.
